Hi Everyone

Janet is really busy with retreat work at the moment, so it's me Brenda posting the new ATC challenge for this month which is -

HOPES AND DREAMS.

With Spring in the air and the promise of warmer weather to come for us here in the northern hemisphere - what hopes and dreams do you have for this year?

My dream is to go to Paris. I have never been and have wanted to for a long time.

So my ATC is flavoured with that theme.

Hello swappers!

Sorry January's swap is a little delayed but is now in the post!

Our winner this month is Tania Downie for this atc.

Tania has used recycled elements for the whole of the atc and has made a fabulous mosaic background from sweetie wrappers!

Firs and foliage now posted

Hello fellow atcers.

What a delight to see your firs and foliage atcs - Utterly stunning! I do hope you like the swaps I have sent in return.

Our winner this month is Barbara Greenwood with this lovely evergreen atc.

A stunning stamp which has been coloured beautifully!

Now the post over Christmas caused one or two people to become anxious about swaps returning and we have also had a case of missing post too (the oriental swap) so from this month I will list all the atcs received in the thanks thread so you will be able to check they did actually arrive. As the swaps dont get to me until after the end of the month it will be then, when I set up the thanks thread, that you will see them there.

Hopefully this will help you all.

Now one thing I have not been receiving is what themes winners would like to choose so having thought more about this Barbara will be the last one to choose the theme and I will set future themes. This will help as I can plan a year in advance so you can send more months in at once if you wish.

From January the person winning the atc swap will get a set of 3 from me and a set of 3 from Michelle as their winning prize - How does that sound?

Just remember if you send in more than 1 months atcs at once you will need a SAE for each months swap.

November swaps are posted

Not as many players for Novembers swap so I guess it was a bit of a challenge.

Still stunning work though and I marvelled at the ways you found to show fireworks in the night sky!

This set of atcs stood out because it was different and totally away from my thinking of the theme that I thought it was amazing!

The set was created by Pam Atkinson and she has added the characters from the bonfire plot and then used colours to represent fire. I also love how she has inked the pictures background but masked the men to keep them white and bold on the atc. Wonderful to see the idea of the original "fireworks" characters on this fab set of atcs.
