Under RM steam they are punking their way back to you! or will be in the morning LOL

Are you groaning? Sorry could not resist!

So yes the steampunk atcs are on their way (almost)out there in the many ways RM use to get the post back to you. Thanks so much for playing along with this super swap theme - I know it has not been easy for some of you but you all rose to the challenge beautifully. Thanks also to the ladies from Belgium, friends of Julie who chose the theme, who have played along for the first time. I hope you want to play along again too.

Our winner is a first time player I think - didn't recognise the name but totally loved her atcs.

Alison Scotland - dont we all have a thingymajig lying around the house LOL? I loved Alisons use of ink to highlight the edges of her paper and those butterfly antenae are wonderful! have popped details in your envelope Alison about choosing the theme for June.

Big thanks to for the lovely letters and raks you send me - I feel like I have a new set of penpals and love to open those gorgeous pieces of art.

Hope you like your swaps - dont forget to leave thanks on the thread on the side bar - always nice to see where your art has gone to and if it was appreciated.

Take care and until next time Happy Crafting x Janet

January Swaps are in the post!

Hi All and thank you for playing along with The Stamp Man atcs swaps again. We had 20 players this time with some fabulous interpretations of Rhymes and Tales. This is the one I have chosen as a winner this month mainly because it transported me back to childhood and watching The Secret Garden on the BBC children's series. I can just see the sulky girl discovering the secret garden with all its magical moments.

well done Jean Straw - lovely layered stamping - one of my favourite techniques - and the addition of the key charm makes it just that bit more magical. A gorgeous piece of art.
As always our winner gets to choose a future theme and has a DT atc in their return swaps - this month from the talented Michelle.
So this months theme is steampunk and we have already received 2 lots of atcs! Hoping to see lots more too.
Happy crafting and this month I have added a thanks thread!

The Stamp Man, Blog Hop, Challenge, and Award Event for 2010

The Stamp Man Award for proudly presenting
my best craft project of the year 2010
With blog hop, challenge and prizes!

We are doing something a little different over on our Challenge blog.  Last year we held our first awards event, the awards were for proudly presenting your best/favourite crafting project you feel you made during the year.   We are going to hold it again this year but we are also linking it with our fortnightly Challenge.

We would like you to join in the challenge, which is to show us your best/favourite project of 2010.  Perhaps it could be an ATC that you have entered here this year?

The award blinkie is just a nice random award for anyone that joins in.  Display your award blinkie on your sidebar with a link back to The Stamp Man main blog.

As you can see above Janet is displaying her favourite ATC, which featured in The Look theme.
The most important part of this is that we would like you all to have fun and enjoy taking time to look back on your crafting over the last year.

We are also holding another blog hop! To find out more details, see the prizes and to start at the beginning of the blog hop please click HERE,

But, here's the basic list you need to follow
  • Join in the actual challenge with your best/favourite project linked with Inlinkz as usual
  • Take your award blinkie with pride and display it on your sidebar with a link back to here.
  • Follow your way around the blog hop in the order you are given along the way, collect all the letters/code you will find on each blog. Write these down then work out the answer when the blog hop is finished.
  • Leave a comment on ALL of the blogs you visit in the blog hop
  • Post our event blinkie onto your blogs or a post about the event with your best/favourite project
  • Email the answer to: thestampman@btconnect.com by 9pm (GMT) on Thursday 13th January 2011.  Please put blog hop answer as the email title
If you get carried away looking through the work on the blogs you visit and run out of time to complete the hop that day, make a note of where you stop and start again another day.  You have 2 weeks to complete the awards, challenge and the blog hop, so there is no rush to get to the end, enjoy the journey and admire the scenery along the way!

If you have already been hopping on the blog hop, you should have arrived from Brenda (bumblebees and butterflies)

Your next visit should be to Debbie (Made with Love)

Oh, before you go, make a note of this letter which is Y

Finally, I would personally like to thank Janet for all her hard work running the ATC swaps and to you all for entering them and making them a success

I hope you will continue joining in with the ATC swaps, the first one of the year that Janet will be announcing on 1st January is Rhymes and Tales

Happy New Year everyone!!

Jill
