November swaps are posted

Not as many players for Novembers swap so I guess it was a bit of a challenge.
Still stunning work though and I marvelled at the ways you found to show fireworks in the night sky!
This set of atcs stood out because it was different and totally away from my thinking of the theme that I thought it was amazing!

The set was created by Pam Atkinson and she has added the characters from the bonfire plot and then used colours to represent fire. I also love how she has inked the pictures background but masked the men to keep them white and bold on the atc. Wonderful to see the idea of the original "fireworks" characters on this fab set of atcs.
Well done Pam!
Hope you enjoy the swaps you receive.
the thanks thread has been opened if you want to add your thanks there.

In fact they went yesterday so the first class ones should have arrived today. We were down on swaps this month with only 13 players - but quality was abundant!

Here is the winner made by Tracey Jackson and is a beautiful collaged piece in the traditional red and black oriental combination. Tracey will choose the theme for Februarys swap.
Hope you are busy creating your fireworks atcs for this months swap. Some have arrived already. The mid month post will be along with more inspiration but do scroll down to see some lovely ones from the DT.

In my Garden swaps have been posted

Hi all - Lovely as always to see the imagination and thought that have gone into making your atcs - gorgeous gorgeous stamps out there and some wonderful talent playing along.

Our numbers were down this month - only 18 players but with some of you sending 6 atcs for a swap that still means the numbers I am swapping are still high.

As always thanks so much for your little notes and Raks - I love opening the letters as much as I love seeing the swaps. So this months winner is Sue Davies AKA Sue the Iron. Here it is - it was difficult to photograph with the high gloss of UTEE but honestly all the layering blew me away - Utterly gorgeous Sue.

So hope you are ready to play along with our Oriental theme - you may also have noticed November and Decembers themes have been added in too. I look forward to seeing them all .

Have fun creating x

July swaps - sorry they are late

Hi All and firstly humongous apologies for the lateness of swapping this month. Its been so busy at the clarke house and I failed to get myself organised sooner. However your swaps were posted this morning so should start arriving from Monday Royal Mail allowing.

So here is Julys winner Kate Perry
It was even more difficult than usual to chose as there were so many utterly gorgeous Vintage atcs - its obviously a theme you all excel at.
Kate used to swap with the Stamp man years ago and has just joined in the swap again. In the end her atc swung my decision mostly because of the fabulous texture with in it. If you look carefully - even the atc itself is textured as well as all the embelishments.
Well done Kate - i have added instructions to your swaps about what to do next.

We had 26 people swapping this time which was fantastic - i do hope you enjoy your miniature works of art when they arrive. huge thanks for all your letters and Raks too - they are always a joy to read/ look at.
Lisa will be along in a few days with a mid month reminder about this months theme which is The Ocean and yet more stunning inspiration from other DT members.

Happy Crafting

ATC winner and trees swap posted

Hi All

Some stunning atcs for the Trees swap and an amazing variety of tree stamps too!
lovely to see some new players joining in. We had 25 in all including 2 players from the USA and one from South Africa!

The swaps have been posted today so I do hope you all enjoy the ones I have chosen for you.

Onto the winners atc

This gorgeous creation is from Jean Straw - the distressed stamping and inking caught my eye and the beautiful saying just clinched it! Jean has been a faithful player for the last year and always produces beautiful stamped atcs - I am sure if you have received her work its very treasured.

So well done Jean - I have popped a note in with your atcs about what to do next x

Please don't forget to change the Stamp man address in your diary as its now unit 11 instead of 10 - see the post below for the full address.

I look forward to receiving your Vintage atcs this month - please ensure they are at the stamp man by the 31st July.

Happy Crafting folks x

July ATC Swap - Vintage Theme

Hi All and welcome to Julys Atc swap here at The Stamp Man.
As you can imagine its been all systems go at Stamp Man HQ getting ready for the move next door. Ian has been busy making shelving and display boards whilst Jill and the girls pack pack pack! If you have been lucky enough to visit this last month you will surely have found many bargains to be had.
And its not too late to visit - Given some notice Jill and Ian can meet you at the warehouse so you can have a good old rummage but you must phone ahead as its not going to be manned all the time.
The move does also mean the address has changed and is now
The Stampman, Unit 11, Craven Nursery Park, Snaygill Industrial Estate, Keighley Road, Skipton, North Yorkshire, BD23 2QR,
Not a huge change as its only gone from 10 to 11 but an important one as far as your swaps are concerned. Please make sure you change the address in your records.

So onto this months swap which is Vintage - a fabulous theme which is so adaptable to anyone's stash so i do hope you play along.

June's swap - trees will be sorted and posted this weekend so do stop by and f
ind out who has won and when they are on their way to you - some beauties I promise you!
Over to the DT for some vintage inspiration x

May Swaps are ready to post!

Hi All - May's swaps are now ready to find their way to you - utterly gorgeous every single one of them. Now this months winner has been chosen not just for composition but for amazing use of colour. I have actually met this young artist in real life and have to say I think she is one of the most talented crafters I know. So a big round of applause for Belle Weimer!

Belle attended the Lovin' ink craft retreat in March and is also a regular visitor to The Stamp Man shop - always with an eye for a bargain she is extremely creative and is also only 9 years old! She also shares a craft room with her wonderfully talented Mum so has access to all kinds of media which she is very creative at using. Belle returns to the States later this summer so I am really glad she played along with us this time so some of you get to see and own this gorgeous work. So well done Belle. You get to choose a future theme and the atc will be proudly displayed in the shop for all to see!

As always the work you put in was wonderful - we had 26 people playing along this time which is fantastic. I do hope you like the pieces of art I have chosen for you and I have begun a thank you thread for you to leave your appreciation comments on.

Lisa will be back in a week or so to share more DT inspiration with you for our current swap which is trees so looking forward to seeing those very soon.

Take care and happy crafting!
